I love Christmas and the whole meaning inherent in it.
But I’m looking forward to this cabal of not as smart as they think characters that have done nothing but destroy this country to really be gone. One way or another.
Meanwhile in the People’s Republic of Canuckistan (formerly Canada), Dear Leader Trudeau the Younger suffered a critical hit when his Deputy Prime Minister who was also his Finance Minister resigned from Cabinet very publicly, followed by his Housing Minister. In a fit of pique, the Younger clicked his heels twice and vanished. Rumour has the Younger is taking a vacation someplace tropical, trying to recover his dignity.
The Deep State of Ottawa are all clutching their pearls as rumours are swirling that the Younger might resign. I doubt his narcissism would allow such.
With any amount of luck, the other parties will put together a vote of non-confidence which leads automatically to an election but, as usual, the leftists are posturing for position rather than standing on principle.
To his credit, Pierre Poilievre leader of the Conservative Party is remaining calm and acting like the government in waiting, so to speak.
Pres Elect Trump’s tweets mocking Trudeau the Younger are working well. The few fools who bristle about how Trump isn’t acting like a statesman are partisan Liberals and end up being mocked as well.
I can`t help but think of Ca. Gov.
Newscum aka known as Gov, hairgel.
when ever I hear of your Trudeau.
They not only resemble each other
but have some similarities.
Gov. hairgel wants to be president,
and I know Chris has shown pigs
flying in a former toon, but as our
people have finally wised up I believe
they would really fly if that happened.
Trudeau the Younger won’t resign yet, he needs the company jet to take him on his vacation (5th or 6th this year) first.
Supposed to fill many Cabinet seats on Friday, but seems to be having trouble finding enough victims. One article says” Who’d be willing to run into a burning building?”
Won’t see a vote of non-confidence that will create an election before 2-25-25, that when the NDP Leader, Maserati Singh, achieves his golden pension date and no longer needs to support this minority government.
We may see him deposed in early January, but whatever follows will be a lame duck.
You probably won’t see any vote on anything, sockboy can prorogue Parliament anytime he likes and rule by order-in-council alone.
Parliament only has to sit once a year so he doesn’t have to recall it before October, or even then, since the GG is the one who calls the election and she might well decline to do so seeing as she was appointed by the kodak kid and does exactly what she’s told, including saying there’s a crisis and the legally mandated election date doesn’t matter.
The same goes for any non-confidence vote, even if every liebral joins in on it she doesn’t have to declare the government unable to rule or call an election.
She can always be overridden by the King, and only the King, but the odds of that happening are pretty much zero.
There’s nothing quite as dangerous a narcissistic socialist who’s never been told ‘no’ in his life that sees a chance to rule all by himself and is afraid someone might take it away from him.
US presidents only wish they had that sort of power.

And there is no mechanism for the liebrals to remove him either, they can only change leaders if one dies or loses an election so sockboy declines to leave they’re stuck with him going into the next election and he’s the one who signs their nomination papers so if he’s spiteful enough, they’re all out a job before the people even get a chance to vote and I’m afraid we won’t get a chance to anyway. The Supreme Court was appointed largely by him and the GG was appointed directly as were a lot of Senators, so there’s not much chance of any legal action succeeding, or even Constitutional action which would just be ignored by him invoking the ‘notwithstanding clause’.
The KIng doesn’t even have that sort of power.

Prorogation is a feature of the Westminster Parliamentary model which is likely unfamiliar to our cousins in the USA.
In the UK Parliament upon which the Canadian federal government system is modeled, there is no separate election of the Executive Branch. All Members of Parliament (MPs) are elected in a general election. We have a multi-party system (theoretically) although practically, two parties dominate; the Liberals and the Conservatives. If only their names actually reflected their policies but I digress.
The party with the largest number of seats forms government; the Prime Minister is the leader of that largest party. Ergo the choice of who is Prime Minister is made by the party, not directly by the voters. The PM selects his Cabinet, usually from members of his party. It is possible for the PM to pick from other parties, from the Senate (ours are appointed, not elected) or even outside of Parliament completely.
The two main things which can end the session are elections and prorogation.
Elections are not like the USA… scheduled well in advance… The PM can call an election at any point or the PM can be forced to call an election by losing a Vote of Confidence.
Being multi-party, the largest party doesn’t always win Majority government (ie: able to push thru votes by simple majority). When the largest party lacks majority, it is called a Minority government. The largest party must get cooperation from other smaller parties to succeed in votes.
In normal times, the Parliament sits in regular sessions and shepherds bills into law amongst a great deal of pomp, circumstance and bafflegab. The session starts with a Speech by the Governor General (written by or at least on behalf of the Prime Minister), laying out what the government is hoping to accomplish in the session.
Prorogation was designed to be the mechanism for the PM to signal they’ve completed (or are abandoning) the session. If they’ve completed everything laid out in the Speech, the PM ends the session via proroguing the Parliament, then starts a new Session with a new Speech.
In the interim between the end of one Session and the start of the new one, the PM and Cabinet conduct government via Orders in Council (roughly equivalent to Executive Orders.
Practically, prorogation is often used by PM to “turn the page” so to speak. If the PM isn’t succeeding in his agenda or there are issues in committees which are causing distractions (aka making the government look bad), prorogation is used to “reset” everything at the cost of losing all progress on bills going through the Legislature.
Can a PM abuse prorogation? Absolutely. Trudeau the Younger has already done so in the past. Will he hesitate to do so again? I doubt it… he seems to lack self-awareness of how weak and inept it makes him look. The only thing which might keep the Younger from using prorogation is several of his “signature” bills regarding internet censorship are close to fruition.
In the old days, at least tyrants could command some respect, no matter how horrible and ruthless they were. Today’s DemonRat and RINO tyrants are so pathetic! Sniveling worm would be a step up for them!
Not sure I understand what this means by ‘migrated-out’? The link leads to a blog with headlines but nothing more. I pasted the headline into a search engine and it came back with nothing (other than the blog).
Is old stock Germans fleeing their homeland? Is it migrants who got legal status returning to their countries of origin?
I always thought there were solutions to any problem that we readily encounter. Some are not practical, or ethical, or moral, or whatever. But there are solutions.

I’m sensing a bit of disrespect, that is so richly deserved! Finally!
IS THIS SPECULATION, OR DID SOMETHING LEAK?
I’ve been out of touch of late.
Interesting, no mention of where they went. Wonder how many have left the U.S.: 265k Germans ‘migrated-out’ of Germany over the past year (N24 news)

Hey, thanks for the link to Schnitzel Republic. It doesn’t have links to the actual headlines. So one must take the entries with a grain of salt.
