All of my blue guns are hard plastic (polymer, I suppose) and would indeed make that sound. Quickly followed by a “thwap!” as I Gibbs smacked the knucklehead who dropped my $80 training pistol on the pavement.

It’s a particular shade of DEI Blue Cerakote; because it’s a boys gun. Coming soon, rainbow Cerakoted rainbow duty weapons for Die-versity.
A ‘fwap’ instead of a ‘clack’ or a more metallic sound might indicate the ‘blue gun’ is exactly that, but with most being made almost completely of some sort of polymer now except for barrels and slide rails, maybe not entirely.
‘Fwap’ does sort of have that rubbery sound to it though 😉
Since November 3rd, 2020 the most lethal weaponry being deployed upon the citizenry, with utmost ill-intent, is surely of the viral AI-MSM kind. Vastly underestimated as a weapon of war…
Fwap is a Bobbie going upside some Fed’s head. Saw a guy get his nose broken like that in a hoochie bar near Glen Burnie. Silicon versus Jeff’s metal. That’s gonna leave a mark.

Nah, that’s blue cerakote so they can remember which “side they’re on” – besides rubber makes a different sound when it hits the pavement.
