Either way, the entertainment industry is learning a harsh and hard lesson about “get woke, go broke”. And they can’t go broke fast enough to suit me. I won’t be happy until I see bankruptcy filings, and selling off of assets at pennies on the dollar.
Speaking of the ATF, SCOTUS slapped them down for outlawing bump-stocks and making criminals out of Americans holding them. It appears their organization cannot make law…only Congress can do that. The Court is following Thomas’ lead re: overstepping their authority (Roe cs wade). A win for us 2nd Amenders.

I was about to say, wow, when did that happen? Bump-fires are ridiculous and useless, no great loss, but that is entirely beside the point. Considering that SCOTUS (yes, and DJT) set that shit up to start with I was shocked. And our “conservative” court will get their chance to right the wrong (or would that be wrong the right?) of the 5th soon enough.

Chris, yes, the two-guys-lookin’-an’-chuggin’ pic is perfect for certain tone-and-setting purposes in SO many ways. I mean, the guys’ cap’n-bottle color coordination fashion sense, to the seemingly perfect 180 degrees out-of-phase positions of the bottles’ swigging rhythm position that also coordinates neatly with the contrasting “Hmmm…/WTF!” attention-factor look in each respective bottle-swigger’s eyes works on so many levels. As the line about versatile women’s shoes goes, “you can dress it up or down.” I even bet steel-blue-gray-guy on the left there has a balding pate to contrast with Gingerhead on the right’s dangling (but likely thinning and on a receding track too) locks. And the implied faux-philosophical interplay of their likely low-keyed conversational remarks to each other about the current-bar-proceedings is palpable.
I vaguely remember someone posting a link to a scene in something (movie, clip?) that this was taken from. Am I remembering correctly? In any case, yes, this definitely NEEDS to be a DBD pin-me meme for the right situations (the sort that seem to pop up naturally and fairly regularly in DBD settings).
And now I’m suddenly imagining the “low-keyed” conversation between the two at a splintered-and-worn picnic table near the banks of the swimmin’ hole in the woods during the givin’ season… Phew…
