Yeah, the new one had promise but didn’t deliver on ease of use is all. It recorded and processed every payment that was made, so no worries.

    Sorry ’bout this, all!

Given the artwork accompanying the explanation, one is left to inquire: “Failure? What failure?”

Clearly this falls in the category of “feature (and what a feature it is), not a bug.”

Speaking of odd failures, this strip came out in my RSS reader dated 5/18/24 9:02 PM, sorted BEFORE yesterday’s strip dated exactly the same; and yesterday’s strip (“Die, DEI, Die”) now shows up as a header and footer and no strip.

Hm… inconsistency in the tanlines between frames 4 and 5… Muir’s attention to detail is slipping

Why would any of them even have tanlines ?
The swimming hole doesn’t freeze over this time of year in Texas.
Best for us to go have a look though, just to be sure 😉

New or old, Sam has a FANTASTIC back end (and front end, and midline…)

Not this toon related, but hear me out. Early on Sam mentions that she is 40. Fast forward several years and she has kids who are now “of age” and can be seen(drawn) down at the pond with the other women. Wouldn’t that make Sam at least 60 now?

Sam is always somewhere between 18 and 23, regardless of her age.

I’m tired of growing old. Let them age as the author sees fit.
Of course I like the adults at their current image.

Growing old is a privilege that is not available to everyone. Yeah, I’d rather not have the aches and pains but I’m cherishing the experiences.
