That witness could be prosecuted for aggravated assault on his actions, imo. Shooting is a last option in my life. I wonder about the witness being a member of armed resistance group or some name like that, with supporters from the group in the courtroom audience. A person in a fight like that moving his gun to aim at me would move from being noticed to being a valid target. So the witness claimed to be a mostly peaceful protester, with a loaded gun he pointed at someone who then shot him. Not so much.
Ever seen a tow truck cable out to drag a vehicle out of a pond etc.? Yep, drag that blob out the door, lift it (use the big straps) and plop it on that bobtail; that thing will haul anything.
Where to? I dunno they’re pretty close to the border so do it a favor and take it where it will be loved, or something.
That kid was wrong to be there and he is lucky to be alive. But he is innocent of the charges against him. Let’s hope the system doesn’t conspire to have him live that life behind bars just for being stupid.

Lefty is the DA’s pet snitch, receiving “favors” as long as he helps get Kyle. All witnesses’ interviews were recorded — except Lefty’s. All witnesses’ cell phones were impounded under warrant — except Lefty’s. Both intentional lapses are unique in that department’s history.

I use USAA for my auto and someone else for my home. Just got to be a veteran or family member and they will insure you. No I have nothing to do with USAA except my auto insurance. USAA does not cover home in FL.

While I have great deal of sympathy for Kyle Rittenhouse and I believe he should be acquitted, it’s pretty much a fact that his life is going to be ruined. If this trial results in an acquittal, the feds will trump up a charge that will stick, given the utter corruption of the federal court system. Getting involved in a running firefight at handshake distance was a serious tactical error with no chance of success. Rioters and looters make excellent targets for a long range rifleman on a rooftop a couple of blocks away, particularly if he’s using a good suppressor. Nothing takes the wind out of a rioter’s sails like having to step over few bodies to continue his looting!
Dunno how the feds could double-jeopardy him. For one thing, he’s not a state agent like Chauvin or Stacey Koon, so civil rights charges are impossible.
In my happy dreams, Rittenhouse buys a private island with the money he wins from suing FB, Twitter, GoFundMe, Discovercard, and three of The Squad members, all of whom libeled him as a white supremacist murderer.
