I’m amazed she can get away with this in the Shiny Happy People’s Democratic Republic of Oz today.

(Yes, I pinched that from Col. Tom Kratman.)

Good thing Kiko has family close by to assist in helping to raise baby Jack.
And who was it? Mark Twain? Will Rogers? Something to the effect that diapers and politicians should be changed. Often. And for the same reasons.
My sympathies to the Potomac River…..after all those years to clean it up, and make it a pleasant place to promenade…..and now to worry about being re-polluted from the effluent rolling down from Capital Hill. Tsk.

In theory, yeah. Though the shenanigans in France suggest there’s more merde to wade through first.

Quite remarkable, isn’t it? Strategic voting taken to the next level; shades of the Weimar Republic.

Macron cannot run again due to term limits so he deliberately burned his own party in order to prevent Le Pen and her coalition from gaining power.

I don’t claim to understand France’s electoral process but this seems like BS.

The Deep State being able to steal France might indicate that victory, while inevitable, may be somewhat postponed, again.

Things may not be as inevitable as one would want.
We’ve got stuff in the works that are just not going to evaporate overnight, witness the woke pollution of the body politic for instance.
The poor saps who were force fed socialism, by whatever flavor, in school are not easily swayed by pesky things like facts.
Once upon a time we could rely on the turnover of the generations to cleanse the rot, but unless things change radically we’ll be stuck, not with walking corpses like we have today, but with the same brainwashed masses made eternally youthful by “science”.
It’s going to be a much longer haul than any rational being would want.

Wasn’t it Reagan who said government is like a baby- – – -“an insatiable appetite at one end, and no sense of responsibility at the other”? It sounds like something he would have said, anyway. RR was one of the last true statesmen to occupy the White House!
