Wow, this is timely. I used the “Karen” reference myself today in a comment, then upon looking it up, all the references were to older white women who flaunt their “privilege” to other races and classes. The person I was thinking of when I used it turned out to be “Permit Patty.” I thought I had screwed up. Where did you get your Karen from?
Speaking of Permit Patties, a guy made an FOIA request for the names of snitches who turned in businesses that stayed open, then published them on Facebook. Oh, the outrage from the Amateur-Geheimpolizei!
True story – I had a saying of my own: “Never underestimate the power of human stupidity” only to find years later that RAH had beaten me to it with the exact same wording. But I don’t believe Corona Apocalypse is the work of stupidity. This attempt to take down the Trump economy is intentional, Machiavellian and malicious.
It is a single cut in the CCP’s attempt to kill us with The Death of a Thousand Cuts. All the proof you need that the Wuhan Virus is a bioweapon is staring straight at you in the UN. The CCP went out of its way to corrupt the World Health Organization just prior to the release by installing a flunky who was already notorious for covering up no less than three Cholera outbreaks in Ethiopia.
Of course it is just my speculation, but it would not surprise me one bit if it turned out that there are several different strains of the Wuhan virus, some of which were developed to have no other effect than immunizing a target population like the CCP members themselves and released in target cities of importance like Beijing and Shanghai well in advance of the release in Wuhan.

Had a startling revelation a few weeks ago. Turned out that a failed romance from 45 years ago that I have been lamenting, actually had a middle name of Karen. It’s only a Democrat primary after all. Who the DNC puts on the ballot has no real relation to who wins these things. They used to take the effort to cheat to make the primaries come out “right” (e.g., Clinton/Sanders) now, they don’t even bother to put on a show. A sudden rash of defections by the frontrunners, and Joe’s your Funny Uncle.
I think we’re losing the narrative. I did some checking and we’re overusing the term. From what I have notice, Karen is a self absorbed white female who wants something for nothing, wants her way, isn’t satisfied with the services offered. She wouldn’t even notice what others are doing. Mrs. Grundy and Mrs. Kravitz are the busybodies who think they can run your life since their’s is so miserable. IE someone’s having fun so we have to stop that. The fun part is when someone I knew took a trip to Italy with a Karen. She was stuck with her for ten days. Karen argues with waiters, taxi drivers, hotel clerks. It turns out it’s part of a scam. Karen didn’t bring enough money to pay for the incidentals so she belittled people into giving discounts and lower rates. Fun Story: A hot dog stand had a special on a 89 cent hotdog. Karen belittled the guy into giving a deluxe supreme hotdog for the 89 cents. Poor guy.
My wife is right now on her weekly trip to Wally’s and Publix.
This small blonde typically demure lady is MILITANT about this shit and has only one other speed besides demure and that is South Georgia Redneck Mama Lion Get Out of My Face and Shut The Fuck Up about your stupid mask, I wish you would smother and die!
I’m hoping not to get a call to come and bail her out.
I understand that a lot of Karens are really upset because with the lockdown shutting so many stores, there are no Managers for them to talk to scream at.
