The problem with inserting something up the hershey highway is that, as Col. Potter told Klinger as he was eating a jeep piece by biece, “this too will pass”.
Well, Shiny did order the FIBer to “bend over”.

“We demand all your information- NOW. We don’t need a reason.
“You want information from us- go fuck yourself.”
That’s been the IRS attitude for decades, also BATFET. Now, the FBI is joining the club.
We have too many Federal agencies with “shiny badges”, and they tend to act the same. And I say that as a one-time LEO and Federal employee, myself.
It’s time we downsized them. Before they and the “elite'” they serve down-grade us from “citizen” to “property”, officially.
Actually the Trump admin is downsizing/downgrading ATF as we speak, taking away their A and their T (which is where the big budget money is/was), leaving them with just their F…either allowing them to focus more closely on your guns and rights, or much more likely allowing us to focus more closely on them, their mission statement, and their viability as a going fed concern…which when inept setups and stings are taken away, ain’t much when you get right down to it.
My thought is we could be on the verge of the elimination or at least drastic reduction in the federal interference of your Constitutional rights…and as I speculated at a gunnie website, we may be looking at the normalization/elimination of the ridiculous limitation of access and ownership of mufflers and MG’s by the end of Trump V.2
And there’s a substantial amount of slicing and dicing quietly going on at other redundant or useless agencies (while leftists and their media tools are focused on RUSSIA!, METOO!, and DT’s diversionary tweets). One of his first Executive Orders was to eliminate two laws/statutes for every new one proposed…and that quickly leads to elimination of the entrenched and worthless bureaucracies that administer them. Dude is getting a hell of a lot done as the sound and fury swirls around him.
F’ing brilliant.

Saw a headline somewhere that said 22 were tossed as average for one.
Playing devils advocate:
Getting rid of the overstaffed, unnecessary government “workers”
will put multiple thousands of drones on unemployment/welfare.
That would more than likely be far cheaper than paying them.
No doubt and that is infuriating. Still a lot cheaper to pay the parasites on the dole than the ‘roll…not to mention letting them stay until pension kicks in like for McCabe that GGI links downthread…don’t even want to imagine the cost of that.
Yet even that pales and is money well spent (pissed away) compared to the cost and damage they inflict in their “jobs”.
Only way to get the swamp drained is to drain it; nobody said it would be easy or cheap, but it’s gotta be done…or else.

The best that can be done is to slightly reverse entropy. Unless Trump’s successor is cut from the exact same cloth as he is, entropy will start to reassert itself in the early winter of 25 – if not sooner. It is impossible to undo over a century’s damage in a scant 8 years.
Sooner or later everything turns to shit. Hell! All WE are is just walking worm shit. As a late friend of mine used to say, “Even protons decay.” (fyi, protons are the most stable anythings of which our science is aware) We cannot expect our once grand republic to abide forever. Sooner or later it, too, will fall.

“It’s true that for her campaign, Jill McCabe received a total of $675,288 from two entities associated with McAuliffe: a political action committee and the Virginia Democratic Party. The governor did not make the donations directly, as Trump suggested to The New York Times. Other outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, first reported the campaign contributions last October.
It’s also true that McAuliffe is a longtime friend of Hillary and Bill Clinton. He’s been described as “Bill Clinton’s best friend” and reportedly speaks daily with him, sometimes multiple times per day. A 2015 report by the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Inspector General said the governor was once on the board of a company led by Anthony Rodham, Hillary Clinton’s brother. But it is perhaps a stretch to say, as Trump has, that receiving money indirectly from McAuliffe is the same as receiving money directly from Hillary Clinton. ”
That’s Newsweek’s spin…of course this was during the course of the 2016 campaign so you can be damn sure that Hillary knew about it….
