More likely that there are a million stories of perversion in the Naked City and they are all true.

As was once said of Herr Schickelgruber, if you hear two or more versions of anything the Enlightened Thought Leaders of the Left come up with, especially in LA, the craziest, most irrational version is most likely to be the real McCoy.

They are, after all, violently opposed to reality and even more violently allergic to logic.

How is the rebuilding going in Hawaii? Speculators and developers were rumored to be scooping up land at literal “fire sale” prices. “preview of coming events” in commiefornia, maybe?

Not to worry. Governor Slick is on the job. Supposedly he’s past some emergency decree making it illegal for speculators to make unsolicited offers on any property in the affected areas if the offer is any less than what the property was worth the day before the fires started. Of course, the new law is only good for the next three months. After that, who knows.

Given California bureaucracy, it’ll be four or five months before residents can get a permit to clear rubble.

Of course, some (perhaps many) of the former property owners may regard the do-over as an opportunity to relocate somewhere sane.

Yeah, he’s the same financial Einstein who thought he could bend the laws of economics to his desires by telling insurance companies that they couldn’t charge actuarily valid rates to insure the properties that are burning now… causing them to abandon whole neighborhoods. And that’s why many of those homeowners are uninsured and will lose everything.

So the commiefornia ‘gov’t’ will solicit offers on behalf of the homeowners then ?

Having literally just read the “six impossible things” line in Through the Looking Glass yesterday (!) I must assume that the surveillance on me is startlingly effective.

This kind of reality-internet coincidence is happening inexplicably often these days, is it not?

Or is it all an insurance scam with Hunter Biden’s painting burning up? It seems they were “valued” at something over $1 billion…

Lol. That “value” (the grift to the Big Guy) goes down in a few days.

As to “impossible” things before breakfast; as we’ve seen, in the last 8 years the window between conspiracy theory and spoiler alert has shrunk to a few minutes.

We can’t have all that battery power being used for anything, now can we ? Of course it was hyped as necessary to store all that extra non-existant solar power so it was largely useless anyway, and someone might have noticed.
